Please, before your registration , be careful while reading the following instructions , which will help you with your orientation and various situations during your preparation and participation in L’Etape Bulgaria by Tour de France
L’Etape Bulgaria by Tour de France 2024 is conducted by the rules of UCI, A.S.O. the rules of the BCF and the suggestions for 2023 year, by the organizer
The conditions for participation in the L’Etape Bulgaria by Tour de France 2024 are subject to the General Terms of the Competition and are obligatory to every registered Participant in the event.
Every participant in the L’Etape Bulgaria by Tour de France 2024 will start at his own responsibility and risk! Every participant is personally responsible for his / her decision about his / her physical condition and the ability to finish the whole distance in chosen category.
Keeping with the spirit of the Tour in the long distance the Race (102 km), only road and gravel bikes with road handlebars are allowed.
All bikes are allowed for the short course Ride (57 km), including mountain bikes, gravel bikes, touring and trekking bikes.
Bicycles with Disc wheels, Tri or Aero handlebars are not permitted.
During the competition, it is advisable not to listen to music and not to wear headphones for safety reasons. Guides or other persons on bicycles (or other means) cannot accompany participants and will therefore be suspended.
According to the rules of UCI, A.S.O. accepting refreshment is allowed only in refreshment station areas.
All participants must follow the instructions of judges, track marshals and organizers.
Violation of these rules can lead to disqualification!
Registration for the Event can only be done on the registration platform on the competition website.
After online registration, you can chose to pay by Credit Card, Epay or Easypay
All event registrations are personal, final and irrevocable and non-refundable under any circumstances, except as expressly stated in the Rules
Bib numbers are not transferable under any circumstances.
Anyone who transfers their race number to another person will be held responsible in the event that the latter is a victim or causes an accident during the race.
The organization disclaims all liability should such an incident occur.
Any person wishing to participate in the Event agrees to register in advance as a member of the registration platform
As a result, the participant must complete the registration form and unconditionally accept the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.
The Participant undertakes to fill in only the information relating to his identity.
After online registration, you have the choice to pay by Credit Card and through Epay and at Easypay cash station (only for BG)
If you pay your registration fee with Credit Card, Epay or Easypay, but you can’t receive your start kit for some reason and you can’t participate, your registration fee won’t be returned.
I accept, that the rights for proportional use of my name, voice, photography or video material belong to the organizer, including all types of advertising on radio, TV and Internet, and other commercial activities of the organizer.

At L’Etape Bulgaria by TDF the anonymity of our registered participants , the protection of personal Data and its confidentiality are our priority and we follow all national and European requirements and regulations for personal Data protection .

1.COLLECTION ,TREATMENT AND USE OF DATA
As with most websites , you can visit our site without disclosing your identity or other personal information.
We collect only information and personal Data (hereinafter referred to as “Data”), that you provide voluntarily when registering for Wizz Air Sofia Marathon , by completing our registration form , The information consists of : Name and Surname ,Year of Birth City , Country, Phone , Email Address, Gender , Distance
We are obligated to inform you , that L’Etape Bulgaria by TDF is collecting ,processing and storing only the personal Data, necessary for the purpose of conducting the competition, as follows:
– Name and Surname – needed to identify the participants in the distance classification .
– Year of Birth – necessary for separation of participants in age groups by distance ;
– City – needed for statistical analysis of participants in Wizz Air Sofia Marathon
– Country – needed for statistical analysis of participants in Wizz Air Sofia Marathon
– Phone – necessary for feedback from the participant in case of irregularities in the registration process;
– Email Address – Required when entering the registered participant portal „ List of participants“ , whether the participant has a correct registration on the competition site; ;
– Gender – needed for separation of the participants in the ranking – women / men;
– Distance needed to make startup lists by distance at L’Etape Bulgaria by TDF ;
2. STORING DATA
We store all of the Data , until you submit a request for its deletion in writing. You may request partial or complete deletion of your Data at any time. We will meet these requests without delay.
- ACCESS TO DATA
You can receive information about your stored Data at any time via a written request.
- TRANSFER OF DATA TO THIRD PARTIES
We do not provide the Data ,we collect to third parties. In particular, we do not sell, assign or exchange your Data, unless such disclosure is required by law or is not explicitly described below.

We take care of the security of your Data and use all technical and organizational storage options in a way, that is unavailable to third parties. All Data is stored in a server, that meets a high standard of security and is protected against unauthorized access.
- DATE OF STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA
Given the interests and needs of L’Etape Bulgaria by TDF participants , personal Data is retained indefinitely or until a written request to delete it from the rankings of the different distances is presented.

L’Etape Bulgaria by TDF does not collect, process and store other personal Data, including subjective and “sensitive”(ethnicity, religion, education, sexual orientation, political or other affiliation), that are not necessary for the fulfillment of our processes and the publishing of the final results ,achieved by L’Etape Bulgaria by TDF participants by distance.
